Labor Day. Wikipedia defines it as a symbolic celebration for the end of the summer season. Meant to reward and appreciate “the strength and spirit of the trade and labor organizations” football fans take this time to celebrate much more. It’s not just a day off work (although that’s a bonus), Labor Day marks the beginnings of the football season.
And in the spirit of this joyous day next week The LEB Sports has chosen, for the first time, to disclose our college football picks for the 2008 season (next week we’ll issue our NFL picks). Below you will find which teams we think will win each conference and what team will ultimately claim the name “National Champion.”
