Sure, the Rangers are playing well and the Desperados are about to begin another AFL championship run but lets be honest, if the Cowboys aren’t playing, as Joe Namath once put it, I’m “struggling.”  Which is why I’ve decided to use my friends at What If Sports to satisfy my football cravings and to help decide a debate my dad and I have been having for years.

Have you ever wondered which of our champions was the best team?  We all have our opinions, but there’s no way to know for sure.  That is until the creation of What If Sports.    Here you can match up  any team, in any sport, past or present.  And because of this gift, for the next six weeks we will play out a five week season between our champions to figure out once and for all who the best Cowboys team is (I’m not including the 2009 because they haven’t won their super bowl yet).

The Rules:

Every team will play each other once, every team will have a bye week, and every game will be played at The Cotton Bowl.  After the five week season the top two teams will face off for the championship.

The schedule:

Week 1

Week 2

Week 3

Week 4

Week 5

Week 1 begins next week.  Predictions?
