Once again, the power of the LEB has been demonstrated. The LEB’s influence on the NFL and the sporting community was first demonstrated when one of our writers drafted a letter to the NFL and Jerry Jones requesting that a change be made in the broadcast booth. It was on a few weeks later that Dallas area native and current Green Bay Packers wideout Donald Driver informed our organization of the removal of “Bumble Gumble” from the booth.
Fast forward a few months.
It was upon the day of his signing with the Dallas Cowboys that a young group of Dallas SPORTS fans made it their mission to cleanse Adam Jones of his former nickname. As I am sitting here writing for another post, the NFL Network has reported that Adam Jones has requested that his former nickname no longer be used when referring to him. From now on it is simply Adam, or Mr. Jones. Us Counting Crow fans will probably choose the latter of the two, but either way, this is nothing but good news.
It is amazing what the programs that have been initiated by Jerry Jones and others can do to individuals that have had their share of troubles. If this thing is turned around and Mr. Jones can fly straight for the remainder of his career, it would have to be viewed as one of the most amazing personal turnarounds in the history of SPORTS.

I try to point out to all who will listen that the reason this thing is going to work is that Adam Jones is finally realizing and admitting that change is necessary. he used to pretend that he was just getting a bad rap, but thanks to the real “mr. jones” and his cohorts (irvin and “prime”), adam is finally growing up. let’s hope this is for real.
