Adam Jones has already started the war of words between our Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles as they gear up to play this early season statement game.   When asked by The Dallas Morning News what he thought of the Eagles wideout trio (Jackson, Baskett, and Lewis) Pacman gave a less than thunderous ovation:  “They played the Rams, dude.”

Some how these five words have now circulated all over Philadelphia and Dallas sports blogs creating the most confusing “bulletin board material” for bloggers (not players) in both cities.

It all started Monday when Dallas Morning News Blogger Tim MacMahon posted this quick hit.  Originally thought of as being a shot at St. Louis, giving them some extra motivation for their October 19 matchup with America’s Team, Philadelphia fans have decided this was a shot at them.

So, shortly after “Pac’s” quote hit the internet so did this.

I guess I can’t really make fun of these guys for playing thumps with each other over the internet but I can laugh at the lengths to which we as fans will go to believe the “no respect” perspective.  Thank you Aretha.
